December heralded my sixth month as your MP, and by the end of the year, my office and I had assisted a whopping 4,300 constituents with their enquiries, and had resolved 85% of your casework concerns. Some of my most complex cases take a little longer to resolve, and my team and I continue to assist those constituents.
In addition to asking my first question of the Prime Minister at PMQs last month, I also submitted a total of 37 Written Parliamentary Questions and spoke on 39 occasions across debates and in oral questions throughout 2024, which means in a typical week I actively participate in 2 to 3 debates or question sessions, showcasing your concerns and shining the spotlight on South West Devon.
2025 promises to be a busy year for me as I continue my campaign to fight for funding for Derriford Hospital, stand up for farmers and businesses, and address the issues that matter to you.
You can keep up to date with all my activities in Parliament and in South West Devon by following me on my social media, checking out my website and signing up to my newsletter.
You can meet with me at my regular surgery sessions, and bookings are now open for my Ivybridge surgery in February.
If you have a casework issue that I can help you with, please get in touch. We can often help without needing a surgery appointment:
