I toured Derriford Ambulance Station earlier this week to speak with the emergency services team. I met with staff and students on the station and was brought up to date on the challenges facing the team this winter.
They work incredibly hard under immense strain but are held back by A&E facilities which are not fit for purpose, clogging up the entire system. The need for the Derriford's new Urgent and Emergency Care Facility remains clear. I have been campaigning relentlessly for the Government to honour its manifesto commitment to invest in our A&E, launching a petition which continues to garner support from resident across Devon and Cornwall.
With your support, I will make the Government listen - sign here: https://www.rebecca-smith.org.uk/campaigns/sign-rebeccas-petition-save-…
