A muddy visit

I’ve been spending time in Brixton and Yealmpton this week and met some really inspirational local businesses.

I paid a muddy visit to Brixton-based South West Composting Ltd followed by plant shopping at Fordbrook Nursery. Fascinating to see how local garden waste from the South Hams is turned into compost in 12 weeks and to hear more about Brixton Composters! Lots of steaming piles!! Thanks to Steve, Chris and team for the visit. Enjoyed meeting Jack from Fordbrook Nursery and hearing about his business. Looking forward to gardening this weekend if the rain holds off…
