Rebecca is campaigning for improved access to healthcare in South West Devon to reduce demand on Derriford Hospital and local GPs.
As the local population grows, especially with the development of Sherford and Ivybridge, looking at local health provision is key. Rebecca meets with local health stakeholders on a regular basis and has been lobbying NHS Devon for better health services for a number of years. Rebecca believes one solution would be an Urgent Care Centre in South West Devon meaning more services are available locally.
