Would you use a direct bus route between Plympton and Plymstock?
Questions about future plans for a direct bus route between Plympton and Plymstock are a regular occurrence. Many local residents would use a bus service in both directions for work, education and leisure reasons but to date, no route has been financially viable.
Prospective MP for South West Devon, Rebecca Smith, is keen to hear from you as to whether you would use a direct bus route between Plympton and Plymstock if one existed.
Rebecca has recently requested an update from the Plymouth City Council Transport lead on future public transport plans for Plymstock and Plympton, especially in relation to the new Freeport employment opportunities at Sherford and Language and £800,000 additional funding from central government. She has also contacted the local bus companies to discuss the feasibility for a future bus service.
