It was great to see the progress at Broadlands Gardens in Plymstock recently.
I've been tracking the progress of this new development of 10 modern, adaptable and sustainable homes since they gained planning permission and last visited as work on site started.
The development is providing new, well designed homes in Plymstock and the money the development makes is being ploughed straight back into Plymouth City Council's Plan for Homes to help fund more affordable homes across the city.
Seeing inside the homes gives a real feel for the size and flexibility of the space. For example, the roof spaces have all been designed to be developed in the future if desired, the innovative side pod in the properties provides space for a granny annex, family room or study and the light and airy feel is lovely.
Lang Town and Country are marketing the homes and it was great to meet the team at their Open Day. It is also great to see local firm, Classic Builders, craftsmanship on site.
