Rebecca hosts family hubs event in Parliament

Have you heard of family hubs?

At least 87 local councils across the country now have one. They are designed to support families to raise their children from 0-19 years old (and 25 years old if living with SEND).

Here in South West Devon, we have one at the Rees Centre Wellbeing Hub in Plympton. It's run by Barnardo's and I had the privilege of visiting before the election to see the work being done there.

Recently, I had the opportunity to host an event in Parliament on behalf of the Family Hubs Network and Spurgeons to highlight the incredible being done across the UK, alongside the Children's Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza and the new Minister for Children and Families, Janet Daby MP.

It was so inspiring to hear all that is being done to support families across the country and I look forward to being involved going forward.
