Today I laid a wreath at the annual Burrow Hill Remembrance Service in Plymstock. Special thanks to Trevor Saunders for organising this service. It was impeccably organised.
As the pace of life seemingly grows ever faster it is important that we take time to pause and reflect on the sacrifices of those who came before us. It was moving to see veterans, their families and members of the public in attendance. Well done to children and young people from Coombe Dean School, Goosewell Primary Academy and Plymstock School for their excellent poetry readings too.
Lest we forget.
