When I was first elected, I wrote to every parish council in South West Devon offering my support. On Monday I met with Wembury Parish Council to discuss housing, health, roads and planning.
South West Devon is one of the most varied constituencies in the country, with the moors, urban Plympton and Plymstock and the rural east all with their own unique challenges. I have found councillors local knowledge of issues in their communities extremely helpful as a Member of Parliament.
