My role with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWG) means that by the end of this Remembrance season, I will have delivered ten talks on our work across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The highlights are when I get to do this closer to home and yesterday it was moving to visit the graves of local men buried in Newton Ferrers and commemorated by the CWGC, ahead of a talk to the Yealm Probus group at the Yacht Club.
