It was an honour to join the Royal British Legion: Ivybridge branch Poppy launch at the Ivybridge Constitutional Club (and their quiz night!). It was also a pleasure to join one of their local volunteers, Emily, to sell poppies at Tesco Lee Mill. I really enjoyed chatting with locals and bumping into friends. Royal Marines Bickleigh, home of 42 Commando Royal Marines, is a key part of the constituency and thousands of veterans live in South West Devon.
Donations from the sale of poppies go directly towards supporting the Armed Forces community. It was lovely to see the support for the Poppy Appeal in the community.
