It’s Small Business Saturday and I want to say a huge thank you to the more than 1760 small and micro businesseses across South West Devon.
Without your creativity, commitment, hard work and risk taking, our local economy would be worse off.
That is why we are helping small businesses succeed by cutting their businesses rates, cutting the cost of employing staff and keeping corporation tax low. We are also freeing up billions of pounds of Start Up Loans so new businesses are created every day.
Visiting local businesses to talk about their challenges and opportunities is one of the perks of my role and over the last few weeks I’ve met with some inspiring local businesses. A few highlights have been Manning and Company, South West Composting Ltd and Fordbrook Nursery.
