Getting to know The Bridge in Ivybridge

Last week I had a lovely coffee and chat with Ian and Ruth from Ivybridge Salvation Army.

We spoke about the work they support and how they work with other local groups like Ivybridge Youth For Christ and So Social Ivybridge at The Bridge. So many people were using the building with various groups and clubs taking advantage of this brilliant space and the community cafe. It was buzzing!

We also had a long conversation about how they support those most is need in Ivybridge such as through their baby bank and also about local housing challenges. I'm particularly interested in housing policy and delivery and really appreicated the insight Ruth and Ian provided.
