MARSH MILLS (WOODFORD) POST OFFICE CLOSURE
 
I am disappointed to hear of the unscheduled closure of the Marsh Mills Post Office on Plymbridge Road in Plympton next month.
 
I understand that the branch will close on Wednesday 25 September at 6pm, and is not expected to re-open, following a Post Office review of services.

However, I will be responding to the Post Office to highlight the concerns of local residents about this and asking them to reconsider their decision not to replace this service.

Joint letter calls on FirstPort to face scrutiny in Parliament

I have written a joint letter with 12 colleagues to FirstPort, highlighting their poor level of services in Sherford, Saltram Meadow and other developments across the country.The main frustration I hear from Sherford and Saltram Meadow residents is how difficult FirstPort are to contact.
