Thousands of people suffering with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) across Devon and Cornwall have not been able to access adequate treatment since the retirement of Derriford's only local specialist in July.
PoTS is a debilitating condition that causes an abnormally rapid increase in heart rate when standing up or sitting up; the clinic provided a lifeline for those affected.
Today I asked the Prime Minister at PMQs what action he can take to secure the treatment my constituents need. I will take up his offer of a meeting and seek a lasting solution for those affected by PoTS in our region.
