Digging deep in Wembury

I had an active afternoon on Saturday with the National Trust South Devon Countryside team and some friends, planting trees in Wembury as part of the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest.

Having done the same last year, it was brilliant to go back and see the progress that has been made and plant some more trees! Well done to Jess, Tim, Sam, Valda and Matt for such a well organised event.

The Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest will be made up of 500 hectares of tree canopy cover and woodland when its finished!

Great to be joined by local South Hams District Councillor, Julie Carson and Alison Nix for Brixton, Wembury and Sherford, Tony Carson for the Bickleigh and Wembury Devon County Council seat and Natalie Harrison.
