Rebecca commits to supporting animal welfare legislation at Animals Matter event

Last week I attended one of the first major animal protection events of this Parliament. South West Devon is a constituency full of farmers and animal-lovers so I was keen to attend.

I heard from experts at the UK's leading animal charities, Humane Society International, Compassion in World Farming, FOUR PAWS and RSPCA (England & Wales), about some of the biggest issues affecting animals in the UK and abroad.

As your Member of Parliament, I am committed to supporting legislation which improves welfare standards for kept animals in the UK.
