Last night I had the pleasure of attending the NFU Plympton and Tavistock Annual Dinner as their guest speaker.
Not only was the meal at Yelverton Golf Club delicious, it was great to share the evening with many of our local farmers who I’ve been getting to know over the last year or so.
With the Labour government continuing to ignore the future of the family farm and how important they are for food security, our rural economy and managing our rural landscape, I’m committed to speaking up for our community’s farmers from across the South Hams and Dartmoor in Parliament.
